A Word About the Weekend - ENJOY
Our first two messages from Ecclesiastes could be down right depressing if we didn't know that there was more coming... AND I promise - better is coming!
But not quite yet. Chapter two continues to point out the fruitless nature of life "under the sun"... However, we'll also begin to see the importance of capturing the common graces of this life and enjoying them!
It's been said that you should never commit your happiness to the future. Happy work is best done by the man who takes his long-term plans somewhat lightly and works from moment to moment as to the Lord … The present is the only item in which any duty can be done or any grace received.
The future can seem fun and exciting when compared to what seems like the drudgery of the present. But the present is the doorway to the future. So jump in, grab hold, and do whatever lies close at hand.
Just do it, and tomorrow you’ll be glad you did! Join us this weekend as we celebrate IN THE MOMENT all the blessings God has given us. Don't put it off.
