UPDATE: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
The past several days (and even hours) have brought changes at an incredible speed. Consequently, we’ve made the very difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s worship gatherings and go to an online-only worship format at 10:30 AM. You’ll be able to access the service video at hardysbc.net/watch-live and at facebook.com/HardySBC. I encourage you to gather with your family and worship online!
We are not doing this out of fear; our God is sovereign and wasn’t caught off guard by the current health situation. But with the repeated requests from the CDC, the President, and our Governor Tate Reeves to limit large gatherings, we are;
1) giving respect and honor to those who are in authority; and
2) loving our neighbors, especially our weakest and most vulnerable.
In addition to Sunday’s services, we are also cancelling Sunday School and Wednesday activities. We hope to see our regular schedule resume quickly, but the safety and health of our flock, and our community are critical. I know these decisions are disappointing to many, but I do believe they’re sensible.

I appreciate your understanding and encourage you to pray for people already impacted by COVID-19. I also encourage to pray that the Lord brings glory to Himself through the loving and compassionate response of His people.
