Guarded By His Peace

Fruitful Farming
John 14:15-30

Statement of Affirmation: I am free from anxiety because things are right between God, myself and others. 

One great danger of "fruitful farming" is that we seek the fruit of  SELF not the fruit of the SPIRIT . 

Peace is not the absence of conflict -- it is the absence of fear in the midst of conflict and the ability to cope with conflict in contentment. 

That kind of peace is only produced by power of the Holy Spirit. 

You are going to have TROUBLE but don't be TROUBLED . 

He promises PEACE but that doesn't mean there won't be PRESSURE .

When Jesus says, "Peace I give you"...what do you hear? 

Four Thoughts About Cultivating Peace 

1) Jesus could be WITH  them, but the Holy Spirit could be IN them (17)!

2) When the PRESSURE is on, you are not ALONE (18). 

3)The EXPERIENCE of HIS PEACE makes no sense to the world! 

4) He will be our GUARD and our GUIDE.
