Message Series: ALL CALLED
Message Title: Poor, Pitiful Me
Text: Jonah 4:1-11
Dr. Scott Hanberry

God's amazing grace ought to be a springboard of praise to God in our lives, not a source of protest. Today's text uses Jonah's atitude and actions as an object lesson that describes how callous we can be when we choose to judge our enemies rather than offer grace.

1.) Are you concerned about God's ________?
     A Callous ___________.
Anger will lead to _________ or _________-___________!

2.) Are you consumed by God's ____________?
God is more concerned with _______ than ________.

The central message of the book of Jonah is that God's heart is for lost people and not the comfort of Jonah. He has a bigger plan and His agenda is far greater than the comfort of one miserable prophet.

3.) Do you care about God's _________?

How is God preparing you?
Blessing you with good things you don't deserve?
Taking from you things which would limit your perspective?
Allowing you to go throughwindstorms which show you where your heart is?
